It has been scientifically proven that cheese contains highly addictive properties, so luckily we know just the boutique to hit up if you need to get your fix whilst in Cape Town. Culture Club Cheese, opened on the newly revived and trendy Bree Street in April 2016 by husband and wife duo Jessica and Luke, is the ultimate place to purchase the highest quality cheeses from South Africa and beyond. Even more exciting, you can satisfy all of your cravings on the spot in their bright and airy restaurant, indulging in delicious options like the gooey Camembert mac ’n cheese or the Culture Club labneh and goats’ cheese salad. Of course the menu also includes options that don’t involve cheese, but we must admit it is hard to resist.

Cheese aficionados will appreciate that the friendly staff are not only passionate and knowledgeable, they will also let you taste samples in order to better guide you towards your personal dairy heaven. Not to be overlooked are the Kombucha drinks made in-house – a perfect way to wash down all of that cheesy goodness!
